Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia was Juniper Moon Farm, a place where fine wool sheep and Angora goats produced some of the finest farm yarns in the United States. Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers, before Susan's flock retired at the end of the 2015 season and her farm ceased operations.
Through carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy our team at KFI has grown the line to what it is today. Each yarn is paired with a curated collection of patterns by some of the hottest and up-and-coming designers.
